The Stanley Cup Playoffs are officially back, in a big way! Fast paced, hard hitting, quintuple overtime action!. Come here for all the winning picks on the road to the Stanley Cup finals. (odds provided by coolbet.com)
Tampa bay Lightning vs. Columbus Blue Jackets (3pmEST). The Blue Jackets have, once again, proven to be a tougher out than anybody anticipated. The Lightning know this better than anyone (note: got swept last year). Every game has been close 3-2 (5th OT), 3-1 and 3-2. No signs point to this game being any different.
PICKS: Lightning -159, U 5.5 -161
Arizona Coyotes vs. Colorado Avalanche (5:30pmEST):
The Coyotes showed some signs of life putting up a solid offensive performance in their 4-2 win on Saturday to get the series to 2-1. It wasn’t pretty ion the back end mind you. Darcy Kuemper had to make 49 saves to keep the victory secured, and while he could do that again, we are not betting on it.
PICKS- AVALANCHE -110 in regualation.
Carolina Hurricanes vs. Boston Bruins (8PM EST): A lot has happened in this series, from a personnel standpoint. David Pastrnak has miss games 2 and 3 and will miss game 4 with an upper body injury. Andrei Svechnikov looks like he will miss the remainder of the playoffs. Oh, and Tuukka Rask decided to leave the bubble and the playoffs entirely. All this and the Bruins played their best game of the series in front of Jaroslav Halak, sans the NHLs leading goal scorer. Doesn’t look good for the Caniacs.
PICK: BRUINS WIN -118.
ST.LOUIS BLUES vs VANCOUVER CANUCKS (10:30PM EST): What a series this has been. The Canucks have been taking it to the defending Stanley Cup Champs in what has been, in my opinion, the series of the playoffs. The Blues played an outstanding game last night and STILL barely squeaked away with a 3-2 win in overtime to avoid going down 3-0. They have been there before, and this back-to-back game will may be a time to show their experience vs a young Canucks team.
PICK: BLUES WIN -132
